The gas turbine engine is the go to choice for propulsion and power generation systems. Its PERFORMANCE impacts the reliability and the overall profitability of power plants, especially in regions with very high fuel cost.
It is imperative to have an in-depth understanding of GT Performance and performance enhancement technologies that guarantees efficient operation, availability, reliability and overall profitability. This workshop will help participants gain fundamental understanding of Industrial GT performance, an understanding of the effect of operational challenges on GT performance and an understanding of the effect of GT performance degradation on operational cost.
Also advanced performance enhancement technologies will be introduced alongside case studies where these technologies have been applied.

Performance Enhancement Options – inlet cooling, filtration system upgrade, water injection, compressor washing and performance monitoring
Demonstration/Simulation of Techno-Economic benefits of GT performance enhancement
Introduction to Entropy-Tech advanced performance enhancement services. (Filtration system evaluation/upgrade, high pressure compressor washing technology/on-wing wash for aero GTs, pre-packaged containerized inlet air cooling technology and complete performance monitoring system for Industrial and Aero GTs)
Demonstration/Existing Installation Site Case Study
Laying of the framework for the assessment of the detailed financial viability of the technology and adaptation to the GT plants of participating companies
